The Economy shipping option is intended to give you the lowest shipping cost available from several carriers/methods, for delivery in 1-5 business days.

When Economy shipping is chosen, our shipping software will shop the rates for USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, and UPS Ground to find the most economical option when your order is being shipped from the lab. Delivery time will vary between 1-5 business days, depending on the location the package is shipping to, and the shipping carrier. As always, you’ll still receive all the details in the shipping notification email including the cost, carrier, and tracking number once the order has shipped.

For Photoreflect LE/Darkroom Software users,  you’ll choose the “Standard” shipping option in the ordering software, but the policies/carriers will work as outlined above.



All packages shipping to Canada will ship with USPS First Class Mail International or Priority Mail International instead of with UPS. First Class Mail International is available for packages up to 4 lbs. and will typically arrive in 7-10 business days. Priority Mail International packages typically arrive in 3-7 business days. Tracking information is available for both methods.

In ROES or FLOW, choose the “Economy” shipping option to ship to Canada. For Photoreflect LE/Darkroom Software users, Canadian shipping is available with the following methods:


  • “Standard” shipping – packages will ship via USPS First Class International* (*for packages up to 4 lbs.- packages over 4 lbs. will get shipped via USPS Priority Mail International)
  • “Priority” shipping – packages will ship via USPS Priority Mail International



If you have specific preferences you’d like applied to your orders (i.e. only ship my packages with UPS Ground, etc.), please contact Customer Service. We can easily add these options to your account here at the lab.

Shipping Rates

We have negotiated discounted rates with all our shipping carriers, and we pass those savings along to you. In order to provide you with the absolute lowest price, your order’s shipping cost is not calculated until it’s ready to ship from the lab. That way, we charge you what it costs us to ship your orders.

Our shipping costs are determined by the weight and dimensions of the package, the recipient’s address, and the shipping method chosen. To view your actual shipping costs after your orders have shipped, view your Shipping History, and/or choose to receive our shipping notification emails. Minimum Order Requirements & Handling Fees

There is a $5 minimum for all orders. If your order does not meet the minimum amount (excluding shipping costs), the price will automatically be adjusted to $5 at the lab. Batch orders from Photoreflect LE/Darkroom Software will continue to be treated as single orders.

Minimum order fees do not impact shipping charges, and do not apply to no-charge remake orders. If you’re placing high-volumes of small drop-ship orders, contact Customer Service to find out if lower prices are available based on your needs.

Holidays for Shipping Carriers

Please be aware that UPS and the USPS may not operate on certain US holidays. This may affect transit and delivery times for packages. View the complete lists of holidays observed by our shipping carriers online here: UPS Holiday Schedule, and USPS Postal Holidays. Be sure to keep these dates in mind when you have order deadlines.
