PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS

What kind of printers do you use?

We use Noritsu Pro printers and Lab-S/RA-4 processors.

What type of paper do you use?

We print with Fujicolor Crystal Archive Super Type PD paper for our Luster prints and Fujicolor Crystal Archive paper for our Glossy prints.

What paper surfaces do you offer?

We offer Luster and Glossy surfaces for our photographic prints. View our Price Guide for more information.

Are your print sizes exact?

Our prints may be up to 1/16-1/8 of an inch smaller than the size ordered due to our automatic paper cutters, which automatically trim two sides of the prints. Larger prints are cut down by hand and are truer to size, but still may vary slightly. If you need an exact print size, please contact Customer Service to determine the best option.

What is the largest size you can print?

We’re able to produce photographic prints up to 30 inches wide, by virtually any length. For sizes not found within our software and/or Price Guide, please contact Customer Service for pricing and ordering instructions. For prints over 30 inches wide, we offer our Fine Art Giclée Watercolor or Unstretched Canvas prints.

What is the archival life of a photographic print?

The archival life of our photographic prints is approximately 100 years. This is contingent upon the prints being kept dry and out of direct sunlight and high temperatures.

Do you offer competition prints?

Yes- choose the “Competition Prints” catalog in ROES to order these items. Our technicians will then correct your images for competition density, which is typically 15-20% darker for optimum viewing under the strong lights used by the judges. For more information, please contact Customer Service.

What's the difference between competition and regular prints?

Competition prints are corrected specifically for optimal color and density based on the standards used for competitions, which is typically 15-20% darker for optimum viewing under the strong lights used by the judges. For more information, please contact Customer Service.

Is anything printed on the back of the prints?

Yes, we use backprinting on photographic prints up to 11×14 in size. Your account number, order number, and file name are displayed by default. You can add additional information within the ordering software. Contact Customer Service for instructions.

Can I customize the information shown on the back of my prints?

Yes, this option is available in all versions of our ordering software. In ROES the “Back Print” field can be found and edited during the checkout process prior to submitting your order to the lab, in the “Enter Your Account Information” section. In Photoreflect LE/ExpressDigital Darkroom, the backprint option can be found in the Setup section under Fulfillment Options. Please note that only the second line of back print information can be added or edited in Photoreflect LE/ExpressDigital Darkroom. The first line will be occupied by lab codes which will override any information entered on the first line. For more information and assistance, please contact Customer Service.

Is there a price break for high volume customers?

We offer several options for volume orders.

Volume Packaged: Orders must consist of 50 or more print units and will receive a batch color/density correction. Contact Customer Service for more information about what packaging materials and other options like sorting, bundling, labeling, reorder inserts/stuffers, are available.

Volume Unpackaged: Orders must consist of 50 or more print units and will receive a batch color/density correction. Prints are then packaged together (NOTindividually in poly bags or envelopes by sitting).
